BED OF ROASES THE MOVIE

BED OF ROASES a new film directed by Pascal Amanfo has been entered for ZAFAA 2011. Stars in this film are Majid Michel, Adjetey Anang, John Dumelo, Martaha Ankomah, Luckie Lawson and Yvonne Okoro. This movie is a total Ghollywood as the keep pumping out a steady stream of interesting movies.Best of Roses” is a story of Ella Boateng, married to real estate millionaire Andy Nadab. When Andy who was supposedly seeing another woman pops up in her face asking for divorce, she decides that she must first know the woman who has stolen his heart.
In that light and with the help of her half Sister Zina, she secures the services of Jason, a young man good at such odd jobs as trailing people and commissions him to at all cost find out who the “other woman” is. But unknown to her however and even to the best of minds, the other woman is Zina.
What follows is a dare-devil web of plots and counter-plots between both sisters that leave a trail of hate, bitterness, pain and anguish. At the end of it all, we are taught another very important definition of life — Life is not a “Bed of Roses”.
All thumbs up for this movie as we wait and see how it captures the audience eye. If you have seen the movie and find it interested, please do not fail to vote. However, all your comments will be taken into consideration.

ABOUT ZAFAA

The Annual African Films Festival and Academy Awards were conceived out of a plethora of factors.
 These are as follows:

a)    That many hardworking Africans’ who have been in the acting profession over the years have never been rewarded deservingly for the time, energy and their own resource spent in projecting the Film Industry in Africa to receive international acclaim.

b)    That based on the above, a befitting ceremony be held no where than in the UK to reward these gallant sons and daughters.

c)    That many African Film makers have the urge to further their career through refresher courses with world renowned institutions which tends to be very expensive. Prior to expose that innate desire in them, a similitude of a course be held alongside the awards to get them in league with new trends within the film industry to be run by world renowned tutors and actors, majority of whom are resources person in acting schools in the US and UK.

d)    That organizing this event will also expose African Films on a higher scale to the international market.
